EnvLoop / Legal

Terms of service

Effective October 19, 2026

These terms govern access to EnvLoop’s website, Console, APIs and execution, evaluation, training and inference services at envloop.ai. “EnvLoop”, “we” and “us” mean the team operating these services. By creating an account or using the services, you agree to these terms. A separate signed agreement or service order takes precedence for the matters it specifically covers.

1. Eligibility and account responsibility

You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter an agreement. If you act for an organization, you must be authorized to bind it. Provide accurate account and billing information, keep credentials secure, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.

You are responsible for your use and the activities you authorize through your account, API keys, service accounts and workspaces. Workspace administrators control membership and permissions. Do not share credentials to bypass access controls or access another customer’s resources.

2. Services and third parties

EnvLoop provides infrastructure and tools for running and inspecting workloads. Features, capacity and supported models may change. A successful submission does not guarantee execution, a particular evaluation score, model quality or research outcome.

The service may depend on cloud, compute, model, authentication and other providers. Their availability, licenses and usage restrictions may affect a workload. Third-party software, datasets and models remain subject to their own terms. A preview or experimental feature may be changed or discontinued and is provided without an uptime commitment unless separately agreed.

3. Your content and our permission to process it

Between you and EnvLoop, you retain your rights in the content you submit. EnvLoop does not acquire ownership of your datasets, code, prompts, trained model artifacts or outputs by hosting or processing them. Third-party rights, including base-model and dataset licenses, still apply.

You grant EnvLoop and the providers needed to deliver the service permission to host, copy, transmit, execute and otherwise process your content only as needed to provide, secure and support your requested services or as you separately authorize. This permission does not grant a general right to commercialize private content or train models for other customers. Our privacy policy explains personal-information handling.

You must have the rights, permissions and lawful basis needed for your content and instructions, including permissions from people whose information you submit. Check sharing settings before publishing content or giving another person workspace access.

4. Usage, prices and payment

You agree to pay charges for services and resources you authorize under the applicable price information, order or agreement. Charges may depend on compute time, model usage, storage or other measured consumption. Estimates are not fixed quotes unless explicitly stated, and delayed usage records may change the displayed total.

Stopping a job or closing your browser does not necessarily release allocated resources immediately. Usage may continue until the resource is actually released or the applicable billing period ends. Charges for consumed resources remain payable even if a workload fails to produce your desired result.

Free credits and promotions follow their stated conditions and are not cash. Any prepaid-credit expiry, recurring commitment, taxes, cancellation or refund arrangement must be disclosed in the applicable order or offer. Contact hello@envloop.ai about duplicate charges, suspected metering errors or refunds. We will investigate substantiated billing errors; these terms do not remove any refund or cancellation rights required by law.

5. Acceptable use

Use the service lawfully and within the permissions granted to you. Do not infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, distribute unlawful content, conduct fraud or abusive surveillance, or use the service to harm people.

Do not attack systems without authorization, deploy malware, steal credentials, evade access or billing controls, disrupt shared infrastructure, conceal prohibited activity or use resources beyond your authorized limits. Security testing requires permission from the relevant system owner. Follow applicable export, sanctions and third-party provider restrictions.

6. Outputs and independent verification

AI outputs, evaluation results and generated artifacts may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased or unsuitable for your use. You are responsible for testing and reviewing them, confirming licenses and rights, and deciding whether they are safe and appropriate before relying on, deploying or publishing them.

Scores and benchmarks are observations under particular conditions. They do not guarantee future performance, correctness, fitness for a high-risk use or that an improvement will generalize to another task.

7. Security, content removal and suspension

We may restrict a workload, remove content or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address unlawful use, material breaches, security risks, provider requirements, nonpayment or legal obligations. Where practical and lawful, we will give notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. Urgent risks may require action first.

You may stop using the service and request account or data deletion through hello@envloop.ai. Export content you need while access is available. Amounts already owed and obligations that naturally survive termination remain in effect. Retention and deletion follow the privacy policy and applicable agreements.

8. Availability and responsibility

Except for commitments we make in a separate agreement and rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, services are provided as available. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, permanent storage, exclusive or non-infringing outputs, or a particular commercial or research result. Maintain independent copies of important content.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost business arising from these services. EnvLoop’s aggregate liability for a claim is limited to the fees you paid for the affected services during the 12 months before the event giving rise to it. These limits do not apply to fraud, deliberate misconduct or liability that law does not allow to be excluded or limited, and do not reduce mandatory consumer rights.

9. Changes, applicable law and disputes

We may update these terms by publishing a new effective date. We will provide notice of material changes where appropriate or required by law. Changes will not retroactively expand our rights to private content or alter charges for services already supplied. If you disagree, stop using the affected service before the change applies.

Contact us first so that we can try to resolve a dispute. Any governing-law or forum provision in a separate signed agreement applies to its scope. Otherwise, applicable law and courts with lawful jurisdiction determine the dispute. Nothing here removes mandatory protections in your place of residence.

10. Contact and general terms

Contact the EnvLoop team at hello@envloop.ai for support, billing questions, legal notices or requests about the operator of an order. Our privacy policy is available at envloop.ai/privacy.

If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. Not enforcing a provision on one occasion does not waive the right to enforce it later.
